romance

things are good.

very, very good.

so good that all of my attention has been focused on experiencing things rather than attempting to analyze things. and even now i'm hesitant to say too much. though if you get me in a one-on-one conversation, you will quickly tire of hearing me gush. it might even make you vomit. my apologies in advance.

quick rundown of the past month: long, passionate gazes. poetry. flowers. a message in a bottle. a surprise serenade (on the guitar, a song i love that he learned just for me, for my birthday), conversations about everything, over wine and cheese or even brown guacamole.

he's an infp to my infj. so he's almost my twin. except he's much, much, much more talented than i'd ever hope to be. but that's ok. i'm more than happy to just sit in appreciation of his talents. of which there are many. ok, no more gushing.

he's in information technology. but he's also a reserve deputy sheriff. but, wait. he's liberal. so he doesn't have the cop attitude. but he so has the cop uniform. oh yes. he does.

most importantly, he's nice. and good. and genuine.

i'm doing my best to keep my eyes wide open and my feet firmly on the ground. it's taking all of my energy to do so.

so far so good.
