i think i could burst

i feel that lucky.

trinidad has been amazing. i wasn't able to make it to tobago - one extra day wasn't quite enough time - but i really can't complain. a lovely woman from the hospital we visited took me around the island this morning. and then this afternoon i hung out by the hotel pool and got just enough color to make me happy. tonight i'm hanging out on the balcony bar, overlooking port of spain, catching up on work emails and facebook (while sipping a margarita). i have the most amazing guy waiting for me when i get home. and then friends will be arriving late thursday night for a long weekend of fun.

i know that life isn't always this fantastic. and so i am doing my best to soak up and revel in every stinking moment.

i have learned to respect the ebbs and flows of life.

and right now - i am so digging the flow.
